MRST is a year round instructional and competitive swimming organization.

MRST is a member of United States Swimming (USS), the Empire State Swim League (ESSL) and the Orange-Dutchess Swim League (ODSL).  MRST practices and competitions are held at Middletown High School and Maple Hill Park in the city of Middletown, New York.

MRST Athletes range in age from 4 years to 22 years in age.  Athletes are placed in one of 7 levels of programming including Swim Lessons, Novice, Age-Group, Junior, Pre-Senior, Senior or National Groups depending on ability.  Each level has goals for swimmers to attain, thereby providing a progressive building of skill level.

Our staff is headed by Frank Woodward, a certified US Swim coach and also Middletown High School Varsity Girls and Boys Swim coach.  He is assisted by certified US Swim coaches Mel Freehill and Melissa McCaffrey.  Each coach has their own groups to focus on to allow each swimmer to fulfill their potential.
